Xmas Lush Haul

The holidays wouldn't be the same without a little Lush lovin! Obviously I went shopping and obviously I filmed a haul for you.

I was very impressed with this shopping trip.

When I went shopping for Halloween goodies they had barely anything - not because it was all sold out but because the stores here in Utah just don't get a whole lot. Which is disappointing because Lush around the holidays is extra special and as a frequent flyer I want to participate in the magic! If the products stayed in good condition when purchased online I would just save myself the chaos, salesy employees, and lack of products but they dont. Needless to say my last trip was a frustrating disappointment.

But like all good relationships there are going to ups and downs, good times and bad. So I went in with a fresh perspective hoping for the best!

And this time Lush was packed!

Not only with all the latest bath bombs, bubble bars, soaps, scrubs, and other beauty products but with lots of people!

Thankfully I have their app, so I set up my bag before hand and went into the chaos confidently with my list, a basket, and a purpose!

I did a quick grab and go while Mace grabbed a table at California Pizza Kitchen for date night.

I got every product on my wish list + a few for friends and family. They had everything you would find online with plenty in stock.

This year they have lots of NEW and lots of updates. One of my favorite is what they have done to Shoot for the Stars.

This one is perfection in a bath and one I wish I would have gotten more of.

They gave it a complete makeover, brightened the colors, amplified the scent, and added stars filled with moisture. I absolutely LOVE these little moisture pods they are adding to the bath bombs. The Lava Lamp is another one that has it and they seriously make all the difference!

Shoot for the Stars was the most moisturizing bath I have ever taken - far beyond anything I have ever had from a bubble bar or a bath melt. I adore the glitter and the bright blue is gorgeous, the stars swirl around your bath while they slowly melt away. God this one is amazing.

The other one I tried out this past weekend was MistleToe.

I was worried about the scent on this one and to be honest it really wasn't great. I ended up adding a bubble bar to it because it was just so blah.

The colors were awesome and the bath itself looked gorgeous but the smell just wasn't good.

This might be the only bath bomb I wouldn't suggest and I definitely wont be purchasing again.

I cant wait to try out some of the others from this haul, Northern Lights ive never experienced and the updates to So White are super rad!

This will be the only XMAS themed video this year! Be sure to check out some past videos if you are in the Christmas mood!

I hope you all are doing fabulous and having a beautiful holiday season. Sending you all lots of love!

Much love!

OLE HENRIKSEN Power Bright Tutorial/Review - SnapChat Style | Influenster

One of the many joys of blogging is testing out NEW products. What makes it even better is sharing the seriously good ones with all of you.

Skin care should be a priority to everyone. With our skin being our largest organ, it needs all the TLC, love, light, and attention it can get. Testing out products to find ones that work for you and your skins specific needs can be pricey and overwhelming. Thats where honest authentic bloggers (like me) swoop in and make life easy!

I'll make this super simple. The Ole Henriksen Power Bright 3 step skin kit is one of the best products I have ever used. My first thought after using it was that this is the closest thing to a professional facial at home you can get. After doing a bit of research I learned that it actually takes inspiration from Ole Henriksen’s POWER Peel - the most-requested treatment at his spa.

Although getting a facial is something I will still opt for every once in a while, they are expensive and with me being a total hermit, I prefer to stay home!

Without more of my rambles, I hope you enjoy my experience SnapChat style! Make sure to check out future snaps by clicking the direct link to follow me >>>> @xomagnoliarose

OLE HENRIKSEN POWER BRIGHT STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL & REVIEW!

The kit contains 6 little pods of the following products....

-Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask
-Truth 25% Vitamin C Concentrate
-Pure Truth Melting Cleanser

-2 Complexion sponges have been added to make life easy!

Step 1: Apply the Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask to clean, damp skin. Gently massage in a circular motion for 30 seconds, then let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

This really yummy face mask is enriched with sugar, honey, and pomegranate seed powder. It smells delicious and your skin feels AND looks absolutely amazing after. This first step was honestly my very favorite! A good exfoliant combined in a mask is super bad ass!

It deliciously polishes away dull skin and gives your skin a super clean, smooth, and radiant complexion.

Wash this baby off and move on to step 2.

Step 2: Apply the Truth 25% Vitamin C Concentrate. Let this one sit for 2-3 minutes, LEAVE IT ON and apply step 3.

This one is creamy & soft but has a very decent kick to it! Its a little sassy but thats how you know its working its magic!

Step 3: Apply the Pure Truth Melting Cleanser on top of Vitamin C Concentrate.

These two work as a team.

And again the sassy warm tingling feeling means its doing its job and its doing it well.

Your pores kinda feel like they are dancing around, it can get a wee bit itchy at times but finding ways to entertain yourself helps "fight the burn".

The Melting Cleanser nourishes your skin with vitamin C, cherry seed, and rose hip seed oils. Super fabulous!

Let this treatment chillax on your face for 10-15 min.

Side note...it doesnt have honey in it, its just the vibe it had and the SnapChat stickers were too much fun!

Wash off in circular motions using your super rad facial sponge!

After you have given your skin the TLC it deserves and a solid rinse, its time to moisturize!

Influenster threw in the Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation moisturizer. Its good but its not my favorite.

I prefer to use Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate with Lush Cosmetics Cosmetic Lad over top. The two work better for me.

BUT! For the sake of giving the products a solid test I have used this moisturizer for the last few weeks.

Although its great for dry skin, it feels too thin to me and the combo I currently have works perfect for my skins specific needs!

For this final step, use whatever moisturizer works for you and your skin care needs.

FINAL THOUGHTS!

I would DEFINITELY recommend this treatment. It worked wonders for my skin and I have noticed a huge difference in how smooth it feels along with how bright, radiant, and happy it looks.
