Thus far December has been pretty awesome. Which is great because this year has been a bit of a shit show. Check out another successful round of VLOGMAS > HERE <
I wanted to share a few highlights with you in addition to my video.
MY EXPERIENCE AT LUNATIC FRINGE
A rad highlight I just have to share is my hairstylist Cookie. I get lots of comments on my hair and he is to blame! It can be really difficult to find a great hairstylist, I am grateful that Cookie came into my life. Not only because of our blossoming friendship but because he really does a damn good job.
Ever since I switched to Lunatic Fringe in Sugarhouse I have had the best experience.
The owner Ali is a goddess, I have also had the honor of sitting in her chair multiple times. She tamed my mane when it was an ombre last year which I loved.
I would highly suggest going to Lunatic Fringe in Sugarhouse if you want a top notch hair care experience.
The environment is so positive and happy, they know how to have a good time, snacks are always provided, and when it comes to hair they are absolute gurus.
Another highlight from this last weekend was our new car. We are selling our Mazda to save on funds. We got a 2011 Toyota Camry that Josh and I are both loving. Its super spacious and comfortable. PERFECT for our next Disney trip! Coming soon....
WEEKENDS ARE FOR EATING OUT
We definitely treated ourselves this weekend. Josh and I got sushi with our dear friend Zac, who is also on YouTube so be sure to check out his channel > HERE <
In addition to Sushi night we finally got Cheesecake Factory TO GO which was the perfect comfort food I needed with it being that time of the month. And as usual we hit up our favorite brunch spot Oasis Cafe on Sunday.
If you want to try Oasis, I would suggest making a reservation because their seating is horrible AND ordering the Eggs Benedict + a pumpkin latte. Both are to die for!
Lastly, I have the cutest dogs. Look at this sweet face...
Sending you all lots of warm holiday snuggles and love!
I know this time of year can be difficult for many, hang in there if you are struggling. Life has ups and downs, and sometimes the holidays can be a bit of a downer. This time of year comes with weird memories, shitty regrets, family drama, and plenty of struggles. BUT stay positive and know you have a special place in my heart. Here for you always.
