It seriously feels like I was just writing my 2014 blog post. 2014 went by so fast! It was an amazing year that taught me many things about life, love, and work. I am so grateful for everything 2014 brought.
My 2014 blog post was one of my first blog posts on here which marks my one year anniversary for blogging! Yay! What a great relationship it has turned out to be. I have developed a consistent internet following, I have learned so much about the internet world, made tons of connections, made new friends, and have been producing content all year. I have worked my ass off! I am so proud of all I accomplished on here as well as YouTube in just one year. Shout out to my internet family, I love you guys and am so grateful that you're on this journey with me!
2015 is going to be a great year! It feels like it's going to be THAT year, I am not sure why I have that feeling but I do. My gut feeling says to give this year everything I have. Its telling me that now's the time to get on the train and make your dreams a reality. 2015 is going to be my year to blossom and I am ready for it.
“You are confined only by the walls you build yourself.”
My main goal for 2015 is to make Blogging and YouTube happen. This is my dream, this is what I want, and this is what I am going after. I am ready to make it happen. In 2014 I learned so much about how the internet realm works and I feel pretty confident I have all the tools to make it happen. Now its just up to me!
Along with that goal I want to learn to trust and be more vulnerable. Life has had a way in the past of forcing me to put a thick wall up to protect myself from anything and everything. Although I am grateful for my defense mechanisms its not necessarily needed anymore. Having those walls up just makes it so I miss out on prime moments in life. More on that later as I do want to start blogging more about my past experiences.
Another thing 2014 has taught me is that I am safe and its ok to trust and be vulnerable. With this comes working on my anxiety and stress. Learning to let go, move forward, and trust the process. Trust those around me that I know love me. Trust myself and go with my gut, my intuition, and my heart. Apply logic and reason but never out of fear. NEVER let fear be your driving force for anything!
"All the adversity I've had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me... You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you."
I have a few more resolutions that are pretty typical but as always its important to put the intention out there.
I want to up my health and wellness again. I did my every day yoga back in September and I loved it. I want to get back into the groove of everyday yoga and eating clean. I have committed to another 30 day yoga program this time with Yoga With Adriene which I am so beyond excited for! I am starting a Tiny Tea detox with Your Tea for 28 days which I purchased yesterday! As far as eating healthy goes, eating clean is something that is pretty easy for me as I have developed a veggie diet for the last 3 years and I love it. Its become second nature to me so now its just getting off the holiday treats and getting back into the routine. I cut out carbonation in August so thats easy cheesy, and I am wanting to replace caffeine (minus coffee) with water.
Last on my list is to learn french. I learned little bits last year but want to up the seriousness of that goal. Josh and I want to go to Disneyland Paris for our 5 year anniversary so learning French needs to happen. I have changed the settings on my phone back to French, we have created a Spotify Disney French station that is kick ass, and our house is still labeled in French because of last year. Whats awesome is we are learning together which is fun and helps bring us together. French is also the sexiest language in the world which has its perks!
If you are with me in learning a new language for 2015 and have an iphone, download mindsnacks. They have tons of different languages and its set up more like a game so its actually really fun! We have committed to an hour of French together every Sunday and we're each learning on our own as much as we can throughout the day!
2015 is going to be amazing! I am so excited for what this year has to offer. I am so grateful to have blogging and YouTube as an outlet to share my journey with you, put the intention out there, and express myself.
Just like last year I made a year end video that captured the year and its best moments. These videos are so dear to my heart and I am so grateful to be able to share it. I feel truly blessed in life!
Life is absolutly amazing! Make this year yours, commit to your dreams, and stay positive. I love you all so much! Heres to 2015!
Much love to all of you!
